Mini Darts FAQs
What are mini darts?
The mini darts on this page have super short barrels, which make the whole dart smaller than a standard dart. Every set here is a Viper soft tip set of three with a knurled barrel for a consistent grip, and most use alloy barrels.
Are small darts lighter than regular darts?
Not necessarily, because most small darts on this page weigh 16 grams, a weight regular soft tip darts commonly come in. Weights here run from 4.5 to 18 grams, and only the very smallest sets are much lighter than a regular soft tip dart.
Does a mini darts set need special tips?
No, every mini darts set on this page takes standard 2BA soft tips, so you do not need a special small tip. Even the two smallest sets include 2BA tips, and standard 2BA replacement tips fit every set when a point wears out or breaks.
What flights do mini darts use?
Most mini darts on this page use slim flights with holographic designs. The two smallest sets use micro flights instead, which are sized for miniature darts. Flights wear with play, so check which of the two flight types your set uses before you buy replacement flights.
What games can you play with mini darts?
You can play the usual electronic dartboard games with mini darts, such as Cricket and 501, because every set on this page is a soft tip set. An electronic board detects each hit, keeps score for the game you select and tracks whose turn it is, and it offers dozens of other games too.
