Sisal Dartboards FAQs
What's the difference between a bristle and a sisal dartboard?
There is no real difference, because a bristle dartboard and a sisal dartboard are the same kind of board. Bristle is another name for a sisal board, and sisal is the natural fiber compressed to form its playing surface. Every board on this page lists sisal as its material, and most list a build of 90 percent sisal and 10 percent metal.
What makes a sisal dartboard last longer?
Self-healing fibers and a number ring that lets you rotate the board both help a sisal dartboard last longer, and every board on this page has both. The compressed fibers let the holes left by darts recover over time, and rotating reduces wear on the most-used sections. For care tips, see our dartboard maintenance page.
