Dart Cases FAQs

What are dart cases made of?

Most dart cases on this page are made from nylon, TacTech, polypropylene, EVA, aluminum or leatherette. Nylon is the most common, and all but a few of those nylon cases are built around a hard resin shell or interior, so a fabric exterior does not always mean a soft case. The TacTech, EVA and aluminum cases also have a hard outer shell.

How many darts does a Casemaster dart case hold?

A Casemaster dart case on this page holds anywhere from one set of three darts up to 24 darts, which is eight full sets. In between are two-set cases for six darts and multi-set cases that carry 9, 12 or 18 darts. Capacity is counted at three darts per set, so a 12-dart case carries four complete sets.

What styles of dart carrying case can I choose from?

Dart carrying cases on this page range from clip-on and wallet-style cases to zippered cases with a wrist strap, carry handle or shoulder strap. The clip-on cases and wallet-style cases attach to a belt or bag with a carabiner or clip. Every case here with a carry handle or shoulder strap holds two or more sets of darts.

How do I choose the best dart case for my darts and gear?

Choose a dart case sized for the number of sets you carry, then match its storage to what else you bring. If you keep spare flights, shafts and tips on hand, look for flight pockets and lidded accessory tubes, since spares in the case make a broken flight or tip a quick fix. For personal items, some cases add a phone pocket or room for cash and ID.

Do I need a dart flight case to keep my flights from getting crushed?

You may not need a separate dart flight case, because many cases here hold fully assembled darts without crushing the flights and have room for molded flights too. A few slim nylon cases instead store darts with the flights partly folded down. If you throw molded flights, look for a case whose description lists them.
