How to Play
The objective of Knockout darts is to outscore your opponents and be the last person standing. Each player must try to outscore the player before them. If they don't, they receive a mark. Three marks, and a player is knocked out of the game.
To start the game, whoever goes first will use their non-dominant hand to throw three darts at the board to set a score. After that, every player can throw as they normally would. This helps make the game more fair, since it is impossible for the player who goes first to receive a mark against their name on their first turn.
Once the score is set by the first thrower, the next player must throw three darts of their own to try and score higher. If the total of those three darts is less than the previous round's score, then that player receives one mark. A player gets knocked out of the game once they receive three marks.
Regardless of whether a player receives a mark or not, whatever they score is what the next player has to beat.
The great thing about Knockout is that even if a player gets a very high score (like 150) it only affects the player going immediately after them.
If two players get the same score, then no one receives a mark. This way, in the event someone scores a maximum of 180 points, the next player at least has a chance to avoid getting a mark.
The last player without three marks is the winner!
