Q: What weight do cues come in?

A: Cue weights vary between 18 and 22 ounces. If there is a customizable weight, the products’ detail page will mention it.

Q: What is Tungsten?

A: Tungsten is very hard and very dense metal that high quality barrels are made from. Its high density allows darts to weigh more while maintaining a slim barrel, which allows darts to be thrown closer together without interfering with each other. Because it is hard it can be prone to shattering, so it must be mixed with softer metals. This is why there are no 100% Tungsten dart barrels.

Q: Do you sell replacement tips?

A: Soft tips wear out over time and require replacing regularly. We sell many different styles and amounts of replacement soft tips. Steel tips require maintenance as well, and can be replaced, however we do not sell them. To keep your steel points in good form, we do sell shaping stones.

Q: Which barrel grip is the best?

A: Grip is a matter of personal preference and varies widely. Test out many different styles until you find the grip you like the best. This philosophy also applies to shaft length and flight shape.

A: The 3 in 1 flip table only comes with a quantity of 1 of each of these pieces in the hardware pack. One set is already preinstalled on the table where the plug comes out.  Sometimes the bolt may be slightly hidden inside of the table and may need to be pulled out.

Q: My VTooth Dartboard won’t pair with the app

A: There are many troubleshooting steps to try when the app is not working.

  • First ensure that you are running the latest version of the app. You can check this by visiting your app store. If there is an update install it and try again.
  • Make sure your Bluetooth is enabled and Location Services is ON.
  • If you are seeing the R04 message, press the Next Player button to clear it.
  • If your board has connected successfully before try the following steps:
    • Remove all of the batteries and press the On/Off button to clear out any stored up power.
    • Insert the batteries from left to right. After the second battery the board may turn on. Press the On/Off button to turn it off.
    • Insert the third battery. The board may turn on again. Press the On/Off button to turn it off again.
    • Insert the fourth battery and again, the board may turn on automatically. Press and hold the On/Off button to turn it off.
    • Finally press the On/Off button to turn the board on. It is important to turn the board off in-between inserting the batteries.
  • If these solutions do not work, contact customer service, where you may be asked to give further information.

Q: What are some of the games I can play with my dartboard?

A: 301 and Cricket are the most popular games, and the rules can be found here (link to a rules page). We are going to continue to add more game rules to this location over time.

Q: Should dart weight matter to me?

A: To the occasional player, dart weight will probably make no difference. Many serious dart players prefer specific dart weights that feel most comfortable when they throw. Some dart players will even buy kits to add a gram or two to their favorite darts. Generally, soft tip darts range from 14 to 20 grams, and steel tip darts range from 18 to 26 grams.

Q: My Shafts come loose after every throw, are there any solutions?

A: Many of our shafts feature locking holes which can be used to apply additional leverage when tightening shafts. This can prevent shafts from loosening as easily. O-Rings can further help make a tight fit between barrel and shaft.
